Jessie Bell Brown, age 87 of Riegelwood, NC peacefully laid down all burdens of this world and entered a life of eternal love on Wednesday, May 6, 2025 at Lower Cape Fear Angel House Whiteville, NC.

She leaves behind her children, Rev. Dr. Alice Faye Murphy, Priscilla "Pam" Streety(Harold), Beverly Janet Williams and Donna L. Mostella a host of grandchildren, family and friends who will cherish her memory and celebrate the light she brought into the world.

Celebration of Life service will take place 1:00pm Thursday, May 15, 2025 at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church 2020 Woodyard Road Riegelwood, NC 28456.

Interment will follow in the Canetuck Missionary Baptist Church where Mrs. Brown's vessel will be laid to rest.

Viewing for relatives and friends will be held 5:00pm to 7:00pm Wednesday, May 14, 2025 at Dunn Funeral Home Chapel 810 West Wilmington Street Burgaw, NC.

Beginning Saturday, May 10, 2025 Mrs. Brown's family will be receiving visitors at the home of Rev. Dr. Alice Faye Murphy at  81 Rocky Point Elementary Road, Rocky Point, NC.

Though Mrs. Brown is no longer with us in body, her spirit remains forever in all who knew her.
