On April 10, 2025, Jason Green peacefully departed this world at Novant New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, NC, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and unwavering dedication to family and friends. Born on February 6, 1955.

He was a beloved father to Jason Green Jr., Antawne R. Green, LaTashia Byrd, and Brenton Byrd. Along with one of his sister's and devoted caretaker, Arlinda Peters also known as Sweetie, stood by his side through every journey, offering unwavering love and support. Jason's life was further enriched by a host of cherished family members and dear friends who will forever hold his memory close to their hearts.

A celebration of Jason's life will take place on April 19, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Dunn Funeral Home, located at 810 W Wilmington St, Burgaw, NC, 28425. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during the public visitation, which will be held from 12:00 PM to 12:50 PM before the service.

Jason's final resting place will be Coastal Carolina State Veterans Cemetery at 110 Montford Landing Rd, Jacksonville, NC, 28540, where interment will take place on April 21, 2025, at 12:00 PM.
