Obituary for Mrs. Janice M. Herring

Mrs. Janice M. Herring, age 74, of Garner, North Carolina, transitioned peacefully on February 27, 2025, at her home. She is now reunited with her beloved husband, the late Benjamin Herring, Sr., in eternal rest.

Janice was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend who will be fondly remembered for her love, strength, and unwavering commitment to her family. She leaves behind her daughters, Yolanda Herring-McClain and Alisa Herring-Morrisey; her son, Benjamin Herring, Jr.; and a host of cherished family members and close friends who will forever hold her memory in their hearts.

A public visitation will be held at Dunn Funeral Home Chapel on March 7, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

The celebration of her life will take place at GYT The Prayer Center on March 8, 2025, at 10:30 AM. The Prayer Center is located at 6347 NC-41, Wallace, NC, 28466.

Janice will be laid to rest at the Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery, alongside her late husband, at a later date.

Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her, and she will be dearly missed. May she rest in peace.
