Mr. James Edward Mooney, Jr. , age 88, of Jacksonville, formerly of Maple Hill, quietly crossed from this walk of life and exchanged time for eternity on Tuesday, November 28, 2023 while at Carolina Rivers Nursing and Rehabilitation Center located in Jacksonville, NC.

A Homegoing Celebration will convene at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, December 9, 2023 at The Chapel of Dunn Funeral Home - 810 W. Wilmington St. Burgaw, NC 28425. Interment will immediately follow in the Maple Hill Community Cemetery located in Maple Hill, NC.

Public Viewing and Visitation for relatives and friends will take place 11:00 a.m. - 11:50 a.m. on Saturday, December 9, 2023 at The Chapel of Dunn Funeral Home - 810 W. Wilmington St. Burgaw, NC 28425 prior to the 12:00 Noon Homegoing Celebration.
