Mr. Ivan James LeBlanc, Sr., 85, of Wilmington, died Monday, February 18, 2013 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.

Mr. LeBlanc was born on April 19, 1927 to the late Leonard and Noelie Lewis LeBlanc. Mr. LeBlanc served in the United States Marine Corp for nine years. He was a lifetime member of the Montford Point Marines (1942-1949.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 22, 2013, at St. Mark Catholic Church, 1013 Eastwood Road, Wilmington. Interment will follow at Coastal Carolina State Veterans' Cemetery, Jacksonville. The family will also receive friends and family for a final viewing, from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m., Thursday, February 21, 2013, at Dunn Funeral Home.
