Rev. Isaac Johnson, 82, of Harrells, died Thursday, March 14, 2013 at the Veterans Administration Medical Center, Fayetteville.

Rev. Johnson was born on May 13, 1930 in Franklin, Virginia to the late Joseph and Ethel Taylor.

He was a retired Air Force Tech Sergent with 22 years and 7 months of service.

In 1971, Rev. Johnson was called to the Gospel ministry and has Pastored: Greater Six Runs Missionary Baptist Church, Turkey; Atkinson Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, Goldsboro; St. John Missionary Baptist Church, Wallace; Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, Masonboro Sound-Wilmington. Until his health declined, he was the faithful Pastor for 34 years of the Wilson Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, Turkey.

He leaves to cherish his memory:

The funeral will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at the Kenansville Eastern Missionary Baptist Association Headquarters. A visiation will be 5 p.m. - 7 p.m. Monday, March 18, 2013 at Dunn Funeral Home.
