Mrs. Irene Wooten Pickett , age 96, of Maple Hill, at the summons of Almighty God relinquished her earthly life for a more promising life with the Lord on Wednesday, March 13, 2024 while at Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center located in Wilmington, North Carolina.

A Homegoing Celebration - Celebrating A Life Well Lived will convene at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 24, 2024 at St. Lewis Missionary Baptist Church - 168 Pickett Bay Road Chinquapin, NC. Interment will immediately follow in the Pickett Cemetery located in Chinquapin, NC.

Public Viewing and Visitation for relatives and friends will be held during the hours of 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 23, 2024 at The Chapel of Dunn Funeral Home - 810 W. Wilmington St. Burgaw, NC 28425.
