On August 9, 2026, surrounded by the familiarity and comfort of his own residence, Horace took his final journey, leaving behind a legacy as enduring as the Carolina pines.

Visitation will take place on August 14, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m., followed by funeral services at 1:00 p.m., both held at St. James A.M.E. Church, 1630 Over Lyon Road, Kelly, NC 28448.

Afterwards, Horace will find rest in the Kealon Beatty Family Cemetery, a lasting testament to his legacy and the love that anchored him throughout his remarkable life.
