Harvey Bannerman, age 75, of Atkinson, NC peacefully departed this world on Saturday, June 14, 2025 and traded this earthly life for a life of immortality while at Novant New Hanover Regional Medical Center Wilmington, NC.

Those left to cherish his memories are son, Harvey Bannerman, Jr.; grandchildren, Harvey Bannerman, III and Jamel; siblings, Audrey Colvin Dobbin, Lugene Henry, Jimmie Colvin, Joan Colvin-Brown, Sylvester Bernard Colvin, Lawrence Colvin, Eugene Colvin, Alonza "Al" Colvin and a myriad of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Service of Celebration will convene at 1:00pm Friday, June 20, 2025 at New Zion A.M.E. Church 7960 Slocum Trail Atkinson, NC 28421.
Interment will follow in the New Zion A.M.E Church Cemetery with military honors.
All viewing for relatives and friends will take place one hour prior to the celebration of life during the hour of 12:00noon to 12:50pm and immediately after the service.
Though Harvey is no longer with us in the physical world, his spirit lives on eternal, undiminished, and cherished in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
