Mr. Gordon D. Holmes , of Maple Hill, peacefully departed this life on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 while at Carolina East Medical Center located in New Bern, North Carolina.  He is the husband of the late Mrs. Mary Holmes and father of Mr. Jonathan Holmes.

Celebration of Life Services will be held at 2:00p.m. on Sunday, June 27, 2021 at The Chapel of Dunn Funeral Home - 810 W. Wilmington St. Burgaw, NC 28425. Interment will immediately follow in the Maple Hill Community Cemetery located in Maple Hill, North Carolina.

Viewing for family and friends will be 1:00p.m. - 1:50p.m. on Sunday, June 27, 2021 prior to the Celebration of Life Service at The Chapel of Dunn Funeral Home - 810 W. Wilmington St. Burgaw, NC 28425.
