Mrs. Gonzie Lee Kornegay, age 72, of Rocky Point, NC wrote the last paragraph of her life's sketch and joined God's Garden on Sunday, January 3, 2021 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center, Wilmington NC.

A Homegoing Celebration remembering her life will take place at 2:00pm on Sunday, January 10, 2021 in The Chapel of Dunn Funeral Home - 810 W. Wilmington St. Burgaw, NC. Interment will follow in the Register Family Cemetery located in Atkinson, NC.

A walk-through only viewing for family and friends will be 5:00pm - 7:00pm on Saturday, January 9, 2021 in the Chapel of Dunn Funeral Home - 810 W. Wilmington St. Burgaw, NC. We are asking that there be no sitting, lingering or gathering.

Please be mindful of the Governor's Executive Order limiting gatherings. For our safety and yours no more than 50 people will be allowed inside our facility at all times . We will be expecting EVERYONE entering our facility to comply with the order, Wear a Face Covering and practice social distancing.
