Mrs. Gloria D. Sharpless , age 67, of Newport News, Virginia peacefully crossed the sands of time and joined the Heavenly Host on Friday, September 8, 2023 while at Riverside Regional Medical Center located in Newport News, VA. She is the daughter of Mrs. Pearline Moore Wooten and the late John Ander Wooten.

A Celebration of Life Service will take place at 3:30p.m. on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at The Chapel of Dunn Funeral Home - 810 W. Wilmington St. Burgaw, NC 28425. Interment will immediately follow in the Maple Hill Community Cemetery located in Maple Hill, NC.

Public Viewing and Visitation for relatives and friends will be held during the hours of 5:00p.m. - 7:00p.m. on Friday, September 15, 2023 at The Chapel of Dunn Funeral Home - 810 W. Wilmington St. Burgaw, NC 28425.
