Obituary
Mrs. Gloria Jean DeArmas, 64, of Hampstead, departed this life on Wednesday, April 17, 2013, at Premier Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Jacksonville.
Mrs. DeArmas was born on October 29, 1948 in Pender County to the late Reverend James Delaware Jacobs and the late Rena Bell Jacobs. She graduated from Topsail High School in 1966. Mrs. DeArmas was a devoted member of Gethsemane United Holy Church, where she served dutifully as an usher until her health failed her.

The funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday, April 20, at Manhollow Missionary Baptist Church, Hampstead. Burial will be at Edgeomb Community cemetery, Hampstead.
