Mrs. Glenda Yvonne Pridgen, age 75 affectionally known as "Gent"  of  the Calico Bay Community, Burgaw peacefully placed her hands in the Master's and entered the Pearly Gates.

She is the mother of Terry Tyrone Pridgen, Pleshette C. Nicholson and Louis Thomas Pridgen Jr,; sister to Maxine Bannerman, Eddie Hand Sr.(Mickey), Mal Darnell Hand, Leona Pridgen and a myriad of family and friends.

Celebration of Love service will take place 2:00pm Sunday, February 23, 2025 at New Pike Creek A.M.E. Church 7178 Stag Park Road, Burgaw, NC 28425.

Viewing for relatives and friends will he held 4:00pm to 6:00pm on Saturday, February 22, 2025 at Dunn Funeral Home Chapel 810 West Wilmington Street Burgaw, NC 28425.

In Lieu of standing sprays the family kindly request floral baskets or potted plants so that they can be cared for in memory of Mrs. Pridgen.
