Ms. Gerrie "Laverne" Martin, age 41, of Burgaw, NC formerly of Currie,NC Peacefully transitioned onto Eternal Sleep on Sunday, July 11, 2021 at her residence  with her family at her side.

Homegoing celebration will be held 1:00pm Thursday, July 15, 2021 at Moore's Creek Missionary Baptist Church 60 Minuteman Road Currie, NC. Interment will follow in the Moore's Creek M.B. Church Cemetery.

Viewing for relatives and friends will be 5:00pm to 7:00pm Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at Dunn Funeral Home Chapel 810 West Wilmington Street Burgaw, NC 28425.
