Geroge Graham, Sr., affectionately known as "Bo Tutt," passed away peacefully on March 30, 2026, at the Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Born on July 26, 1945, in Bladen County, NC, Mr. Graham lived a life marked by unwavering dedication to his family, community, and faith.
A man described as good at everything he attempted, Mr. Graham was a pillar in the East Arcadia community. His generosity knew no bounds; he was the kind of person who would give the shirt off his back to help others in need. As the head trustee of the Graham Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church, his commitment to his faith and fellow congregants was steadfast and inspirational.
Mr. Graham cherished time spent outdoors, with passions for fishing, hunting, and farming that connected him deeply to the land and traditions of his upbringing. Yet, above all else, his proudest accomplishments were rooted in his beloved family, who continue to honor his memory.
His family will welcome friends and loved ones at Mr. Graham’s homestead beginning April 1, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., providing an opportunity to share memories and celebrate his life.
The viewing will be held at Graham Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church, located at 458 East Arcadia Road, Riegelwood, NC, on April 7, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. The funeral service will immediately follow at the same location and will begin at 10:00 a.m., concluding at 11:00 a.m. Interment will take place the following day, April 8, 2026, starting at 11:00 a.m., also at Graham Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church.
In reflecting on a life well-lived and battles valiantly fought, the words of 2 Timothy 4:7 aptly embody his journey: "I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith."
Geroge "Bo Tutt" Graham, Sr.’s legacy remains etched in the hearts of those who knew him—a testament to a life of service, love, and unwavering faith. His presence will be deeply missed, but his spirit endures within the community and family he so dearly cherished.
