It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Gerald Thomas Larkins, who departed this life on Monday, May 12, 2025, at the age of 71.

Born on December 3, 1953, Gerald was the son of the late Robert Howard Larkins and Maggie B Simpson Larkins. A beloved husband, father, and friend. He was the devoted husband of Brenda Maing Larkins and a proud father to Nicole, Timothy, Syeda, Alfurquan, and Aseelah Maing. Gerald's life was one of love, strength, and unwavering dedication to his family.

Gerald's Funeral Service and Viewing will begin 2:00 PM Sunday, May 18, 2025, at Dunn Funeral Home Chapel, 810 W Wilmington St, Burgaw, NC 28425.

Interment will take place at the Larkins Family Cemetery in The Long Creek Community of Rocky Point, NC
