Mr. George E. Moore , age 83, of Burgaw, peacefully received his rest on Thursday, August 18, 2022 while at Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center located in Wilmington, North Carolina.

A Homegoing Celebration will be held at 11:00a.m. on Thursday, August 25, 2022 at The Chapel of Dunn Funeral Home - 810 W. Wilmington St. Burgaw, NC 28425. Interment will immediately follow in the Burgaw Cemetery, Burgaw, NC.

Public Viewing and Visitation will take place 5:00p.m.- 7:00p.m. on Wednesday, August 24, 2022 at The Chapel of Dunn Funeral Home - 810 W. Wilmington St. Burgaw, NC 28425.

Locally, Mr. Moore is survived by two brothers, Rev. Harvey Smith and Mr. David T. Moore, other siblings reside in Washington D.C. and Maryland.
