Mr. George Wendell Bannerman , age 66, of Burgaw, departed this life and joined Heaven's Army on Saturday, May 14, 2022 while at the Lower Cape Fear Life Care Center located in Wilmington, North Carolina. He is the husband of Mrs. Gloria D. Williams Bannerman.

A Homegoing Service will take place at 2:00p.m. on Saturday, May 21, 2022 at New Pike Creek A.M.E. Church - 7178 Stag Park Rd, Burgaw, 28425. Interment will immediately follow in the Pike Creek Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery located in Burgaw, NC.

Public Viewing for relatives and friends will be held 5:00p.m. - 7:00p.m. on Friday, May 20, 2022 at The Chapel of Dunn Funeral Home - 810 W. Wilmington St. Burgaw, NC 28425.
