In Loving memory of Gene Ardell Thompson, age 77, boarded his final flight July 12, 2024, at AccentCare inpatient Hospice center in Baltimore, Maryland.

Gene leaves behind a loving network of family and friends who will forever hold his memory close. Their lives were touched by his kindness, wisdom, and unwavering love. Among those who mourn his passing is his devoted daughter, Verna Watkins. Their bond was unbreakable, and Gene's legacy lives on through her.

Funeral Details are as follows:

Visitation will take place at the funeral home chapel Friday August 2, 2024, from five to seven that evening.

Celebration of life will be Saturday August 3, 2024, at St. John Missionary Baptist Chruch of Maple Hill, NC at 2:00pm

Gene will find eternal peace at Holmes Cemetery in Maple Hill, NC.
