Mr. Freddie Sykes, age 70, formerly of the Canetuck Community located in Currie, placed his hand in the Master's hand and departed this life on Tuesday, July 18, 2023 while in Dale City, Virginia. He is the husband of Mrs. Marilyn Henry Sykes.

A Viewing will be held 6:00p.m. - 8:00p.m. on Wednesday, July 26, 2023 at The Chapel of Dunn Funeral Home - 810 W. Wilmington St. Burgaw, NC 28425.

Burial will be held 10:00a.m. on Thursday, July 27, 2023 at Canetuck Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery - 5922 Canetuck Rd, Currie, NC 28435.
