Mrs. Freda Moore Newkirk, age 89 of Willard, NC peacefully transitioned into eternal rest on Monday, February 19, 2024 in the comfort of her residence. Mrs. Newkirk is the mother of Larry Dewitt Newkirk, William Jerome Newkirk, Janice Newkirk Peterson, Clovis E. Newkirk and Otis M. Newkirk and one predeceased son, Don Nelson Newkirk.

Homegoing celebration will be held 12:00noon Friday, February 23, 2024 at Roseville Missionary Baptist Church 2870 Wilmington Hwy, Willard, NC 28478. Interment will follow in the Roseville M.B. C. Cemetery.

Viewing for relatives and friends will be held 5:00pm to 7:00pm on Thursday, February 22, 2024 at Dunn Funeral Home Chapel 810 West Wilmington Street, Burgaw, NC.
