Franklyn Brown Jr., aged 43 of Atkinson, NC, peacefully passed away on November 3, 2026, at Novant Pender Memorial Hospital in Burgaw, NC. He was the beloved son of Franklin and Betty C. Brown.

A service in his memory will be held (time not determined) on Sunday, November 8, 2026, at The Middle District Baptist Association on Highway 53 in Burgaw, NC. Following the service, Franklyn will be laid to rest at New Zion AME Church Cemetery in Atkinson, NC.

Family and friends are invited to a viewing on Saturday, November 7, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Dunn Funeral Home Chapel, located on 810 West Wilmington Street, Burgaw, NC.

Franklyn’s gentle spirit and warm heart will be fondly remembered.
