Mr. Rothwell is the husband of Mrs. Sandra Burney Rothwell; father of Shawana Burney(Roscoe); Grandfather of Ebony Linsday; Great-Grandfather of Joel T. Linsday; Brother to Vernetta Corbett(Clemmie), Shirley Gibbs(Willie), Velma Graham, Elmer Rothwell(Metrice), Cary Rothwell(Cheryl), Kevin Brown(Asia) and Willie James(Bessie).

Homegoing celebration will take place 11:00am Saturday, February 17, 2024 at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church 2020 Woodyard Road Riegelwood, NC 28456. Interment will follow in the Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery Ivanhoe, NC 28447.
