Eva Levert White, 94, of Jacksonville, NC, peacefully embraced her heavenly assignment on Friday, September 20, 2024, surrounded by the love and presence of her children and grandchildren.

Her life was one of grace, resilience, and unwavering devotion to her family. She leaves behind a legacy of cherished memories with her daughters: Barbara White Miller (William) of Jacksonville, NC; Cecelia Mills (Dexter) of Durham, NC; and Pamela McAllister of Durham, NC; and her sons, Haywood White Jr. and Larry White, both of Jacksonville, NC.

Eva was reunited in eternity with her beloved sons, David White and Cedric M. White, both of Jacksonville, NC, who preceded her in death.

Her memory will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, siblings, nieces, nephews, and a large circle of relatives and friends who loved her deeply.

A celebration of Eva's remarkable life will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2024, at 1:00 PM at Maple Hill A.M.E. Church, located at 17788 NC-53, Maple Hill, NC, 28454. The public is invited to pay their respects during the visitation from 12:00 to 12:55 PM, just prior to the service.

Eva will be laid to rest immediately following the service at the Isaac & Sennie James Cemetery in Maple Hill, NC. Though she has left this earth, her spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her.
