Mrs. Eunice Jenkins Anderson, age 91, of Willard, NC, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, July 29, 2025. A beloved educator and dedicated member of the community, Mrs. Anderson, along with her late husband, Mr. Oliver Anderson a respected basketball coach taught at the former C.F. Pope High School during its earlier years, leaving a lasting impact on generations of students.

A funeral service and viewing will be held on Sunday, August 3, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Dunn Funeral Home Chapel, located at 810 W. Wilmington Street, Burgaw, NC 28425.

Following the service, Mrs. Anderson will be entombed at Riverview Memorial Park in Watha, NC. Her legacy of service, education, and kindness will long be remembered by all who knew her.
