With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Eugene Matthew Williams, affectionately known as "Matt," at the age of 62. Matt peacefully left us very unexpectedly on Friday, February 21, 2025.

Matt leaves behind his devoted wife, Jacqueline Woods-Williams; his beloved children, Kelsea Williams and Eric Woods; his loving sisters, Margaret Woods, Linda Outler, and Arlene Williams; as well as a large circle of family and friends who will miss him deeply.

Matt had a passion for life that was evident in everything he did. He found joy in working on cars, traveling the highways to visit family in the Carolinas, and creating lasting memories with those he loved. A man of great style, Matt was known for his impeccable taste in fashion, always dressing to impress with an eye for shoes, clothes, and sneakers that matched his personality—bold and full of life.

A viewing will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 12:50 PM, with the homegoing service beginning at 1:00 PM at Dunn Funeral Home Chapel, 810 West Wilmington Street, Burgaw, NC 28425.
