Mother Ethel Hall Knox Johnson, age 93 of Rocky Point, NC peacefully answered the masters call and accepted her heavenly crown on Wednesday, August 7, 2024 at her residence.

"Mother Dear" as she was affectionately called is the mother to Sandra Hampton, Donnie Johnson and Marvin Johnson. She also leaves a host of grand children, great grands, nieces, nephews relatives and friends.

Homegoing celebration will be held 2:00pm Saturday, August 17, 2024 at Mt. Moriah A.M.E. Church 13950 State Hwy 210, Rocky Point, NC 28457. Interment will follow in the Johnson Family Cemetery Rocky Point, NC.

All viewing will be prior to the celebration of life service on Saturday, August 17, 2024 during the hour of 1:00pm to 1:50pm at Mt. Moriah A.M.E. Church Rocky Point.
