Mrs. Essie Mae Canady , age 87, of Rocky Point, gracefully departed this life and entered into the everlasting joy of the Lord on Friday, February 24, 2023 while in the comfort of her residence.

A Homegoing Celebration will convene at 12:00Noon on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at Island Creek Missionary Baptist Church - 325 Harrison Creek Rd
Rocky Point, NC 28457. Interment will immediately follow in the Sidbury Cemetery located in the Harrison Creek Community of Rocky Point, North Carolina.

Public Viewing and Visitation for relatives and friends will be held 11:00a.m. - 11:50a.m. on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at Island Creek Missionary Baptist Church - 325 Harrison Creek Rd Rocky Point, NC 28457 prior to the 12:00Noon Homegoing Celebration.
