Mr. Eric D. Swaringen , age 53, of Chantilly, VA departed this life on Sunday, September 11, 2022 while in Fairfax, VA. He is the son of Mr. Fisher Swaringen and the late Mrs. Queen Carr Swaringen. He is also the grandson of the late Mrs. Lottie Mae Tate Carr and Mr. Quincy Carr.

A Homegoing Service will be held at 11:00a.m. on Saturday, September 24, 2022 at The Chapel of Dunn Funeral Home - 810 W. Wilmington St. Burgaw, NC 28425. Interment will immediately follow in the Newton Family Cemetery - Hwy. 421 N, Willard, NC.

Public Viewing and Visitation will convene 5:00p.m. - 7:00p.m. on Friday, September 23, 2022 at The Chapel of Dunn Funeral Home - 810 W. Wilmington St. Burgaw, NC 28425.
