It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the transitioning of Mrs. Elouise Simpson Murray, age 74, of Kelly, NC, who entered into eternal rest on Monday, July 28, 2025 at Novant Pender Memorial Hospital, Burgaw, NC.

She was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Known for her gentle heart, strong faith, and enduring love for her family and community, Elouise lived a life of grace, compassion, and quiet strength. Her warm smile and comforting presence will be missed dearly by all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Alfred Murray, Tina Murray Simpson, Teresa Murray and Michael Murray; grandchildren, Jasmine Murray, Tyshon Jenkins, Cameron Murray and Tyler Simpson; siblings, Carolyn Blanding, Catherine Witherspoon and Donald Simpson and a host of family and friends.

Homegoing celebration will be held 3:00pm Monday, August 4, 2025 at Wilson Chapel Missionary Baptist Church 833 Over Lyon Road, Kelly, NC 28448.

Interment will follow in the Murray Simpson Family Cemetery, Lossie Murray Drive Kelly, NC.

Viewing for relatives and friends will be held 4:00pm to 6:00pm Sunday, August 3, 2025 at Dunn Funeral Home Chapel.

Elouise found joy in caring for others, cooking meals for family gatherings, and sharing words of wisdom that will continue to inspire those she leaves behind.
