Born on March 20, 1941, in the quiet surroundings of Pender County, North Carolina, Elner’s journey was one marked both by quiet dignity and a steadfast commitment to uplifting those around her.

Loved ones and friends are invited to honor the memory of Elner Delores Pierce at a Celebration of Life service, to be held at 11:00 a.m. on August 22, 2026, at the Middle District Missionary Baptist Association, located at 1821 North Carolina 53, Burgaw, NC 28425. Burial will take place at the Burgaw Cemetery, Burgaw, NC, where she will rest in the land that witnessed the unfolding of her extraordinary life.
