Mr. Elloyd Edward McIntire, Sr. , age 87, of Rocky Point, quietly crossed from this walk of life into eternity on Saturday, November 11, 2023 while at the Lower Cape Fear Life Care Center located in Wilmington, North Carolina.

Mr. McIntire was married to the late Edna Williams McIntire who preceded him on December 7, 2017. Mr. McIntire is the father of Yvonne D. McIntire and Elloyd E. McIntire, Jr.

T/SGT McIntire retired from the U.S. Air Force and Civil Service employment. He then began a career as a successful land developer.

A Visitation for family and friends will be held 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. on Monday, November 20, 2023 at The Chapel of Dunn Funeral Home - 810 W. Wilmington St. Burgaw, NC 28425.

A Homegoing Celebration will convene at 12:00 Noon on Tuesday, November 21, 2023 at St. Paul A.M.E. Church located in Rocky Point, NC with full Military Honors. Interment will immediately follow in the St. Paul A.M.E. Church Cemetery.
