Mrs. Elizabeth Marshall James , age 88, of Burgaw, was added to Heaven's Garden on Thursday, March 9, 2023 at Novant Health Pender Medical Center located in Burgaw, North Carolina. She is the daughter of the late Loftin and Mary Simpson Marshall and the mother of Deirdre K. James, Orlando E. James and Cedric T. James.

A Homegoing Celebration will convene at 2:00p.m. on Saturday, March 18, 2023 at Hall's Chapel Missionary Baptist Church - 2360 US-117 Burgaw, NC 28425. Interment will immediately follow in the Burgaw Cemetery located in Burgaw, North Carolina.

Visitation for family and friends will take place 5:00p.m. - 7:00p.m. on Friday, March 17, 2023 at The Chapel of Dunn Funeral Home - 810 W. Wilmington St. Burgaw, NC 28425.
