Born on May 9, 1939, in the picturesque Philippines, Helen's journey through life was marked by her unwavering passion for family and her remarkable dedication to her many roles throughout her career.

Helen was not just a seamstress, a computer Keypunch operator, a chambermaid, a Certified Nursing Assistant, and a governess; she was a loving matriarch whose warmth enveloped everyone around her. Her nurturing nature and selfless love for her family became the cornerstone of her life. She dedicated herself not only to her professions but to creating a home filled with laughter, compassion, and support.

She is survived by her beloved sons: Michael D (Gloria), Tracy V (Glory), Leon A. Pearsall, and Joseph (Tamara) Pearsall. Helen’s legacy continues through her cherished grandchildren: Recco (Fonterra) Pearsall, Mesha (CJ) Ingram, Arlena Pearsall, Miriam Pearsall, William Pearsall, and Sierra Pearsall. The bond she shared with her great-grandchildren—Aiden Ingram, Makayla Ingram, Zaiden Pearsall, and Zacari Pearsall—was profound, and she took immense joy in watching them grow.

Helen's vibrant spirit will be missed deeply, especially by those who had the privilege to know her. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leon F. Pearsall, and her beloved parents, Antonio and Anastascia Dimalanta. A funeral service will be held in her honor on February 18, 2026, at the Dunn Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Burgaw, NC, beginning at 12:00 PM, followed by interment at the Coastal Carolina State Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville, NC, at 2:00 PM.
