Mrs. Edna Vermell Lamont, 99, of Burgaw, transitioned on her birthday, Saturday, April 23, 2016 at her home. She was surrounded by many of her nine children and a host of grand and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Allen Lamont and son Bertis Lamont.
Visitation for relatives and friends will be 5-7pm Sunday, May 1, 2016 at Dunn Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be 2pm Monday, May 2, 2016 at Mt. Pisgah Missionary Baptist Church, Burgaw. Internment will follow in the Burgaw Cemetery.
