Mrs. Edith Herring Blackshear , age 73, of Watha, NC departed this life and received her rest on Saturday, March 26, 2022 while at Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center located in Wilmington, North Carolina. She is the wife of Mr. Quincy Blackshear.

A Celebration of Life Service will convene at 2:00p.m. on Saturday, April 2, 2022 at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church on Pineywood Road, Watha, NC. Interment will immediately follow in the Messick Cemetery.

Viewing and Visitation for family and friends will take place 5:00p.m. - 7:00p.m. on Friday, April 1, 2022 at The Chapel of Dunn Funeral Home - 810 W. Wilmington St. Burgaw, NC 28425.
