Mrs. Dorothy Wilson Murphy , of Burgaw, relinquished her earthly life and entered eternal glory on Sunday, August 6, 2023 while in the comfort of her residence. She is the mother of Mrs. Edwina Murphy Harris.

A Celebration of Life will take place at 11:00a.m. on Saturday, August 12, 2023 at Mt. Moriah A.M.E. Church - 13950 State Hwy 210, Rocky Point, NC 28457. Interment will immediately follow in Pike Creek Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery located in Burgaw, North Carolina.

Public Viewing for relatives and friends will be held 6:00p.m. - 8:00p.m. on Friday, August 11, 2023 at The Chapel of Dunn Funeral Home - 810 W. Wilmington St. Burgaw, NC 28425.
