Mrs.  Dorothy Canty Lindsay, a devoted wife, loving mother, and dear friend to many peacefully transitioned into a life of eternity on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, surrounded by family.

Dorothy is survived by her husband, James D. Lindsay; children, Jeffrey L. Cupitt, Jr., Kellee Lindsay Boykins, Tameika Cupitt and Eric Canty; siblings, Michael Griffin, Lois...  and a myriad of grand and great grandchildren, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

Dorothy's memory will be cherished always by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Celebration of Life service will be held 2:00pm Monday, July 14, 2025 at First Assembly of God of Wallace 212 West Main St, Wallace, NC 28466.

All viewing will be held prior to the service on Monday, July 14, 2025 during the hour of 1:00pm-1:50pm at the  First Assembly of God Sanctuary, Wallace.

Interment will follow in Duplin Memorial Gardens 4665 US Highawy117, Teachey, NC 28464
