Mother Doretha Moore Pickett, 84, of the Angola Community of Maple Hill peacefully laid down all burdens of this world for Life Everlasting on Saturday, November 16, 2024 at Novant Medical Center Wilmington, NC. She is the wife of Mr. Sherwood Pickett.

Homegoing celebration will convene 1:00pm Sunday November 24, 2024 at Greater St. Paul United Holy Church 1266 Webbtown Road, Maple Hill, NC 28454.

Interment will follow in the Moore Cemetery Andermora Road, Angola Community, Maple Hill, NC.

Viewing and visitation with relatives and friend will take place during the 2:00pm to 4:00pm Saturday, November 23, 2024 at Dunn Funeral Home Chapel 810 West Wilmington Street Burgaw, NC 28425.
