We sadly announce the passing of Mr. Donovan Hatch, age 38, of Jacksonville, North Carolina, who departed this life on September 2, 2025. Donovan was a devoted father to Donovan Hatch, Jr. and Daya Hatch, and he was deeply loved by his family and friends. His presence brought joy to all who knew him, and his memory will forever remain in the hearts of those he touched. Donovan was a passionate supporter of Duke Basketball, and his love for the Blue Devils was as vibrant as his spirit, always bringing excitement and laughter to those who shared the game with him. He now joins his beloved parents in heaven, where peace and reunion await.

A public visitation will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Dunn Funeral Home Chapel, 810 W. Wilmington Street, Burgaw, NC 28425.

A celebration of his life will follow on Sunday, September 14, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at the same location.
