Mrs. Dion W. Garrison , age 73, of Rocky Point, earned her eternal rest and received a crown of righteousness from the Righteous Judge on Wednesday, February 21, 2024 while at Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center located in Wilmington, North Carolina.

Mrs. Garrison is the mother of Shanna G. Whitehead (Theron) of the Long Creek Community.

Public Viewing and Visitation for relatives and friends will take place during the hours of 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 29, 2024 at The Chapel of Dunn Funeral Home - 810 W. Wilmington St. Burgaw, NC 28425.

A Homegoing Celebration will convene at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, March 1, 2024 at St. Matthew Missionary Baptist Church - 152 Arlington Ave Rocky Point, NC 28457. Interment will immediately follow in the St. Mark Cemetery located in Rocky Point, North Carolina.
