Mr. Demetrius Hansley , age 53, of Currie submitted to the Almighty Will of God and departed this life for his heavenly home on Sunday, January 31, 2021 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center located in Wilmington, North Carolina.

A Homegoing Celebration Honoring Demetrius' Life will take place graveside at 2:00pm on Friday, February 5, 2021 at the Moore's Creek Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery - 60 Minuteman Road Currie, NC 28435. Interment will immediately follow.

A Walk Through Viewing for family and friends will be 5:00pm - 7:00p.m. on Thursday, February 4, 2021 at The Chapel of Dunn Funeral Home - 810 W. Wilmington St. Burgaw, NC 28425. In all efforts to keep everyone safe We are asking that there be NO LINGERING .

Please be mindful of the Governor's Executive Order limiting gatherings.

For our safety and yours no more than 50 people will be allowed inside our facility at all times.
