Deacon Archie James Lofton, Jr., 81, of Wilmington, NC, passed away peacefully on January 7, 2025, at Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center.

He was the devoted husband of Evangelist Patricia Lofton and leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and service that will be cherished by a host of relatives, friends, and all whose lives he touched.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 12:00 PM on January 17, 2025, at Middle District Missionary Baptist Association, 1821 North Carolina Highway 53, Burgaw, NC 28425.

The Public Visitation will take place prior to the service, from 11:00 AM to 11:50 AM.

Deacon Lofton will be remembered for the lasting impact he made on his community and the many lives he inspired. He was former President of Kemba Southern Division Ushers and Former President of The North Carolina Baptist Usher Auxiliary of the General Baptist state Convention of North Carolina Incorporated
