Deacon Dean F. Bland , age 63, of Rocky Point, at the summons of Almighty God was added to Heaven's Army on Monday, November 14, 2022 while in the comfort of his residence. He is the husband of Mrs. Loreene B. Bland.

A Homegoing Celebration will be held at 1:00p.m. on Friday, November 18, 2022 at St. John Missionary Baptist Church located in the Long Creek Community of Rocky Point, N.C. Interment will immediately follow in the St. John Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, Rocky Point, NC.

Public Viewing for family and friends will take place 12:00Noon - 12:50p.m. at St. John Missionary Baptist Church located in the Long Creek Community of Rocky Point, N.C. prior to the 1:00p.m. Homegoing Celebration.
