We are saddened to announce the passing of Mr. Curtis Hayes, who peacefully departed this life on October 18, 2025, at his residence in Stockbridge, Georgia. Born and raised in Burgaw, North Carolina, Curtis was a hardworking and devoted individual who built a meaningful life filled with love, laughter, and lasting friendships.

For over ten years, Curtis proudly worked as a truck driver, dedicating himself to his profession with commitment and pride. He was also a passionate Dallas Cowboys fan, well-known for his spirited support and unwavering loyalty to his favorite team.

Curtis found joy in spending time with his family and friends, often bringing people together through his love for grilling, playing cards, and sharing jokes. His warm personality and ability to make others smile were unmatched—he had a special gift for giving everyone he met a nickname, making each connection feel personal and memorable.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Nicole Hayes; mother, Mattie Farrior; father, Curtis Hayes; and children, Valisa Brown and Lance Hayes, along with a host of extended family members and dear friends who will deeply miss his presence.

A Funeral Service to honor and celebrate his life will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at Middle District Missionary Baptist Association, located at 1821 NC-53, Burgaw, NC 28425.
