Dr. Clyde Oliver McDaniel, Jr. , age 88, of Teachey, concluded his life's journey and went to live eternally with the Lord on Sunday, February 25, 2024 while in the comfort of his residence.

Dr. McDaniel is the husband of Mrs. Nettie Coston McDaniel and the father of Karen Cooper, Anita McDaniel and Samuel Lee Coston.

A Homegoing Celebration will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 2, 2024 at Island Creek A.M.E. Church - 1343 W. Charity Rd Rose Hill, NC 28458. Interment will immediately follow in the Duplin Memorial Garden located in Teachey, North Carolina.

ALL VIEWING for relatives and friends will take place during the hours of 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. on Friday, March 1, 2024 at The Chapel of Dunn Funeral Home - 810 W. Wilmington St. Burgaw, NC 28425. There will not be any viewing at the Homegoing Celebration.
