Cleveland James of Maple Hill, NC passed away on Wednesday, February 12, 2025 at his residence.

Family left to cherish his memories are his mother , Annie James Brockington; father , Leslie Green; children , Kameron Lisane, Katressa Munn, Lataysha Munn Jawaun Newkirk and Stori Moore; Granddaughter, Arianna Munn; siblings , Jane Priest, Althea Greiger, Robert James, Sr., Travis Green, Andrenna Johnson, Shantele Bennerman, Corey Brockington, Alec Brockington, Daniel Brockington and a host of family and friends.

Celebration Service will be held 1:00pm Monday, February 24, 2025 at St John Missionary Baptist Church 801 Webbtown Road, Maple Hill, NC 28454.

Burial will follow in the Walter Holmes Family Cemetery, Maple Hill, NC.

Viewing for relatives and friends will take place during the hours of 4:00pm to 6:00pm Sunday, February 23, 2025 at Dunn Funeral Home Chapel 810 West Wilmington Street Burgaw, NC 28425.

In remembrance of Cleveland, the family kindly requests potted plants or garden dishes in the place of traditional standing sprays.
