Mr. Clarence Clifton Davis was born on February 17, 1946, in Pender County, North Carolina, to the late Deacon Boyce Davis and Deaconess Lela Alston Davis. He departed this life on Sunday, August 10, 2025, at his home in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

In his early years, Clifton attended Hills Chapel Baptist Church in the Little Kelly community of Rocky Point, NC, where he developed a strong foundation of faith. He received his education at the former Rocky Point Training School. Following his graduation, Mr. Davis proudly enlisted in the United States Army, where he served his country with honor.

Clifton was a man who took great pride in giving back to his community and supporting fellow veterans. Whether perusing the newspaper, riding his bicycle, or taking spontaneous car rides with no particular destination, he embraced the simple joys of life. His presence, spirit, and quiet strength will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Homegoing celebration will be held 11:00am Monday, August 18, 2025 at Holy Temple Church 2240 North 29th Street Philadelphia, PA 19132.
