With profound sadness, the family of Charles Lindbergh "Pops" Pickett announces his passing on June 21, 2025, in Jacksonville, North Carolina, surrounded by his loving family. Though his time with us was brief, his impact was immeasurable and his memory will be cherished forever.

Pops leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and unwavering spirit in the hearts of his children—Christopher Pickett, Kenneth Pickett, and Gary Pickett; his sisters—Sennie Johnson and Regina Pickett; and his beloved chosen family—Dinah Campbell, Angela Turner, Vernon (Tommy) Carroll, and Rosa Calista Carroll. He is also remembered with deep affection by a multitude of extended family and friends whose lives he touched.

A public visitation will be held Friday, June 27, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Dunn Funeral Home Chapel, 810 W Wilmington St, Burgaw, NC 28425.

A celebration of life honoring Charles will take place on Saturday, June 28, 2025, at 11:30 AM, also at Dunn Funeral Home Chapel.
Though we say goodbye, his warmth and memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
